For ceremony guests we will be serving dinner, and for all reception guests we will have light finger foods

There will be an open bar with beer and wine completely free to all guests over 21. We will also have soft drinks available through the bartender as well

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire- more formal than semi-formal, but more casual than formal. For Women: Dresses knee-length to ankle, jumpsuits, or a chic pantsuit, often paired with heels or dressy flats. Mid-to-dark tones, and think larger rather than smaller patterns if you aren't wearing a solid color. It'll be October, so consider something moody and fall toned, as well as something sleeved because of the cooler weather. We will have both indoor and outdoor access, and the outdoor area does have some grass with pavers. For Men: A suit (tie optional), a well-tailored blazer with dress pants, or a sport coat and dress shirt with dress pants are appropriate. If you show up in jeans or shorts prepare to be adequately shamed and probably kicked out by our planner. Would you wear it to a back yard barbeque? Then it's too casual. No tux required, but wear something that buttons up the front and shoes that cover your toes
