Is The Venue Indoors Or Outdoors?

Both! The ceremony will take place outside overlooking the Sagamore Creek. The reception will take place inside the event room.

What Is The Dress Code?

Semi-Formal attire. We recommend suit & tie for the men and dresses for the ladies.

What Can I Expect For Dinner?

We will be serving a buffet-style BBQ dinner featuring a variety of classic favorites. A vegetarian option will also be available to accommodate different dietary preferences.

Are Children Invited?

Unfortunately anyone under 18 years old will not be invited to attend. Only the Bride and Groom's nieces and nephews will attend as part of the Bridal Party.

Will Transportation Be Provided?

There will be a trolley offered for transportation to/from the hotel and wedding venue. The trolley will leave the Residence Inn promptly at 3:45pm. There will also be plenty of parking onsite at the Waterfront at the Elks for those who prefer to drive.

We recommend staying at either the Residence Inn Portsmouth Downtown/Waterfront or the Hampton Inn & Suites Portsmouth Downtown.

When Should I Arrive?

Taking the trolley? Please be out front of the Residence Inn at 3:45pm. Driving yourself? Please plan to arrive at the venue at 4:00pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm.

No, we do not - in lieu of gifts, please consider contributing to our Honeymoon fund. We are going to Key West & Jamaica!
