We were introduced by a mutual friend we have both known for years. Thank you Pastor Kevin LaVant. Our first date was dinner and shopping. We talked on the phones for hours getting to know each other through laughter, tears, fears, likes and dislikes, encouragement, and prayers.

We had dinner at the same place he asked me to be his girlfriend! As we sat at the dinner table, family and friends came in to join us. I thought he want our families to meet over dinner to get know each other. After dinner, he ask my girls (Miyah & MiKayla) their permission to ask me “the question” Marlon asked me to marry him as his daughter Mallori videotaped the proposal. He told me that I could only answer in one of the two ways, “yeah or yes” lol. Marlon asked me to marry him~I said “yes to Love” We found Love again!!
