What's the deal with your dress code?

Answer

Our dress code can be summed up as 'wear what you want, costumes strongly encouraged'. This is a Halloween wedding after all and we feel like encouraging creative dress on our special day is authentic to our shared life and to the communities we are a part of.

Any dress code do's and dont's?

Answer

We strongly discourage traditional black tie at our wedding and respectfully ask that guests celebrate us by really taking advantage of our theme. This is the occasion for that one outfit or costume in your closet that makes you say 'I have no occasion for this'. We welcome period attire, cosplay, subculture fashion, and giving a past favorite Halloween costume more life. For anyone less comfortable in costume we recommend semi-formal masquerade. There are only four rules: 1. No body paint 2. No glitter 3. Keep things decent 4. Sailor Moon themed outfits and costumes are reserved for members of the wedding party

Where can I find your registry?

Answer

For those of you who would like to honor us with a gift, we have set up honeymoon and home funds in lieu of a traditional registry. Any contribution towards our future together would be greatly appreciated as we look forward to our life as a married couple.

Can I bring my kids?

With the exception of the children in our wedding party this will be an adults-only affair. We respectfully ask guests to refrain from bringing their children.

While we welcome outfits with a formal spin, formal apparel is not a requirement. In fact, all we ask is that you do not show up in regular, traditional black tie and that your outfit has effort!
