Travel Note

Making a trip out of it?

We highly suggest making a trip out of your time in Washington! The PNW is home to some of the most beautiful scenery in the entire country. Here are some of our favorite places that are easy to add on to the beginning or end of your trip: Seattle - How many cities can you see multiple snowcapped mountain ranges and an iconic city skyline all from a commuter ferry? Seattle has so much to do, you'll wish you spent more time there. Book a hot tub boat on Lake Union, watch a Mariners game in T Mobile Park, walk past the vendors in Pike Place, you don't want to skip this stop on your time in the PNW. Looking for places to stay? We're partial to the Ballard neighborhood but downtown and Belltown are more centrally located to all of the main sites. Ask us for recommendations on bars, restaurants, best sunset views, and hikes! Bend, OR - Located in Oregon's high desert, Bend will have you feeling like you're in the Southwest. Bend is a haven for golfers and beer drinkers alike, boasting more than two dozen golf courses and over 30 breweries. Crater Lake is about an hour away from Bend and worth the trip. Don't miss floating down the Deschutes river on a nice day! Vancouver, BC - Looking to take things international? Vancouver is just three hours north of Seattle! Top attractions include the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Stanley Park. With similar weather to Seattle, you're likely to have sunny days and comfortable temperatures during your stay. Other areas we recommend checking out as possible additions to your trip are Portland, OR, Leavenworth, WA, Walla Walla, WA, and the Oregon Coast.
