Yes! Both our ceremony and reception are at 718 Venue in downtown Fredericksburg, so you don't need to worry about going anywhere! We're kicking off the night with cocktails at 5pm, and then we'll have a ceremony at 6pm with dinner and dancing to follow.
The Courtyard Marriott is less than a block away, so no transportation is needed... except your feet. We will provide a shuttle from the Best Western, which is located 2.5 miles away from the venue (about a 6 minute drive). We'll provide pickup from the hotel at 4:45pm, and a shuttle will head back to the hotel from the venue at 10:30pm.
The dress code for our wedding is “Dressy Casual.” We want everyone to look and feel fabulous and comfortable all night long. Men: - Suit, sport coat, blazer or slacks - Dress shirt, casual button-down shirt - Tie is optional Women: - Dress - Skirt and top - Dressy pants outfit - Boots or flats (or heels if you'd like!) There is no dress code for breakfast on Sunday.
Yes! Please join us for breakfast on Sunday and cure that hangover with some greasy bacon. We'll be at the Marriott in the Mary Washington room at 620 Caroline St. (If you're staying at the Marriott, you can just come downstairs.) Breakfast will be available any time from 8:30am until 10:30am (buffet style), so please come by whenever you're up and functioning, or maybe in desperate need of some coffee.
We will have gluten-free, dairy-free, and peanut-free food options at dinner to accommodate our guests' allergies. If we are forgetting anyone's allergy or dietary preference, please let us know!
Cocktail hour starts at 5pm! Please arrive any time between 5 and 6pm. The ceremony starts at 6pm. Dinner and more drinking will follow!
There's nothing formal planned, we just figured we'd hit the bars in downtown Fredericksburg after the reception! If you're staying at the Marriott downtown, you'll have a chance to run back to your room change into something more casual if you'd like.
