Our story began in a hookah bar in Northern Colorado, shortly after Regan moved to the area. She wasn’t looking for anything romantic—just hoping to meet new people and make some friends. Her fiancé, on the other hand, was hoping to talk to a cute girl, and he got lucky because he found her! It all started when Regan was trying to figure out how she was going to do homework. She didn’t have a table, and her fiancé, noticing this, offered her one of his—he had two because they were the size of dinner plates. So he asked if she would like one. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and from there, they struck up a conversation that lasted three hours, laughing and discovering that they had a lot in common. They both walked away that night feeling a connection, but neither of them exchanged numbers—maybe they were both a little hesitant, unsure of what the other was looking for. But she couldn’t stop thinking about him. The very next night, she decided to head back to the same hookah bar, just to see if by chance he’d be there again. And sure enough, he was. They picked up right where they left off, and from that moment on, they knew they had found something special. Fast forward six years and two cats later, and Teegan knew just how to make it official. On a trip to Glenwood Springs, Colorado, surrounded by nature and stunning views, he got down on one knee and asked Regan to spend the rest of her life with him. Of course, she said yes! And now, we’re here, reflecting on the amazing journey that started with a simple act of kindness in a hookah bar.
