Fri, Aug 14, 2026, 1:45 pm - Sat, Aug 15, 2026, 12:00 am
Our inspiration for the day is an English garden wedding. We want you to feel your best and be comfortable, so choose something you’ll enjoy wearing all day. Weather permitting, the ceremony and some walkways will be on grass, so wedges, block heels, or flats may be more practical than stilettos. While it’s not common these days to wear hats or fascinators to weddings, please feel free to treat our day as the perfect excuse if you’d like to!
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Please arrive by 13:45 to ensure you have enough time to settle in before the ceremony begins at 14:00
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
There will be canapes and cocktails. Please make use of the lawn games and explore the estate and grounds. There is also a small petting zoo - see if you can find the lamas!
Fri, Aug 14, 2026, 5:00 pm - Sat, Aug 15, 2026, 12:00 am

12:00 am - 3:00 am
It may be lights off at midnight but join us in the Cellar Bar to continue the party
Flight
The UK is not like Canada in terms of public transport. All airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, London City, Stanstead and Luton) are directly connected to the tube or trains (sometimes both). You will be able to make it to our wedding no matter which airport you fly in to!
Train
Brandon is the closest railway station to Hockwold Hall and is easily reachable from London or Cambridge. Hockwold Hall is then a short ten minute taxi away. We highly recommend downloading the Trainline App which makes planning your journey and buying tickets easy. It also has up to date information on timings as delays are, unfortunately, common.
Rental Car
There are many rental car companies available through which you may wish to rent a car. Companies are located near airports but also throughout the UK. There is plenty of parking at the venue - just remember we drive on the left here...
Hotel
We have reserved all Hockwold Hall accommodation and will be doing our best to divvy up the rooms. This includes Hockwald Hall, The Inn, St Peters Cottage, The Old Coach House and the Tour busses. Just let us know in the RSVP if you'd like to stay at the venue and we'll get back to you with confirmation asap. You can view the Inn here:
Hotel
If you have a tent or trailer please feel free to set up on the grounds of Hockwold Hall (free of charge)! If you plan to use this option please do get in touch to let us know so that we can arrange for you to be shown where to pitch your tent on the day.
Hotel
If we do not have enough room at the venue for the wedding night plenty of alternative options can be found on the Hockwold Hall website. If you are spending the wedding night off of the property we would highly recommend that you pre-book a taxi for your departure time.

Norfolk is a really lovely part of the UK, filled with quaint towns, a beautiful coastline and classic British countryside.
Just a short drive away, and Reece's home town, Cambridge is a world-famous university city with beautiful colleges, cobbled streets, and the River Cam running through its heart. A classic Cambridge experience is to go punting behind the backs of the historic colleges (Reece recommends that you hire someone to do the punting for you following our recent attempt). There are also excellent museums, botanical gardens, and plenty of cosy pubs and tea rooms.
For guests travelling through or spending time in London, the capital offers endless opportunities for sightseeing. From iconic landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, and Big Ben to world-class museums like the British Museum. Explore the city for shopping, dining, and cultural experiences (we recommend Soho and Shoreditch). We live in London and are happy to provide recommendations.
Scotland will always hold a special place in our hearts, as it’s where our story began. We first met in Helensburgh, and lived in Glasgow, a vibrant city full of music, culture, and character. Glasgow is a fantastic place to visit. We also spent many weekends exploring the Scottish outdoors. If you love the outdoors, Scotland offers some of the most breath taking scenery in the world—from dramatic lochs and glens to rugged peaks and wild coastlines. Whether you’d like to explore historic castles, wander through whisky distilleries, or simply soak up the atmosphere of its picturesque towns and villages, Scotland is a truly magical place to visit.
Please RSVP by 1st May 2026. This will ensure that we have enough time to assign accommodation at the venue.
Please arrive early to allow yourself plenty of time to find Hockwold Hall, park and/or drop off your things, and make it to the ceremony space by 2pm
The dress code is 'English garden weddings' and you may wish to read the garden party theme advice through this link: https://www.hitched.co.uk/wedding-planning/bridalwear-articles/what-to-wear-to-a-wedding. Please do not wear stilettos as they are not allowed within the estate itself. We recommend wearing wedges or flat shoes as much of the venue is outdoors.
We will have made it clear on your invitation email whether you have a plus one. However, if you are not sure, please do get in touch.
We have reserved all accommodation at the venue itself and will divvy this up to guests once we know who will be attending. There is a small chance that there will not be enough accommodation at the venue itself. We will communicate with each guest directly to assign accommodation or to help find other alternative accommodation once our numbers are confirmed.
If you have any food allergies, intolerances or requests please include this information when you RSVP so that we can accommodate.
Yes! More information on all available lifts can be found by following this link: https://www.hockwoldhallnorfolk.com/blog/here-comes-the-ride/ If you are staying at off-site accommodation on the night of the wedding we highly recommend that you pre-book a taxi for the end of the night.
