Pick Up and Return Schedule for International Guests
Answer
To accommodate our international and out-of-town guests, we have arranged a team of drivers for your convenience. There are two scheduled pickup times from downtown San Diego: Wednesday at 3:00 PM and Thursday at 10:00 AM. The exact pickup location will be provided closer to the date. When you RSVP on the website, you will have the option to select which shuttle you’ll be taking. An icebreaker party for out-of-town guests and family is scheduled for Thursday at 2:00 PM. The drive to Ensenada - the city where you will be staying- typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. The shuttle will take you directly to your hotel. For those taking the Thursday shuttle, you will have enough time to check in, change, and then the shuttle will pick you up again to take you to the icebreaker party. For your return, there are also two options: Sunday at 12:00 PM and Monday at 10:00 AM. When you RSVP on this website you will have the option to indicate which date you will be taking the transportation bus back to San Diego. The bus will pick you up from your hotel, transport you across the San Ysidro border with other wedding guests, and bring you to a central location in San Diego. Please note that you will need to briefly exit the bus to go through security and documentation verification. During this time, you will have to take your belongings with you. The bus will be waiting on the other side of the border to pick you up once you pass through the United States security check. Please take all relevent documentation - Passports, and have a printed copy of your ESTA with you, if you need a visa for the United States.
