There are many rental car companies located at the airport were you can pick it up and drop off
Travel Note
There are few different shuttle buses that go from the airport to the village if you don't want the hassle of renting a car.
Amazing treats and coffee more of a takeaway place with a couple seats. Expect it to be busy!
A restaurant attached to the Fairmont Hotel on Blackcomb side. Great for coffee and maple bacon doughnut! Or for lunch we love the porchetta sandwich!!
A great takeaway coffee stop. Normally quieter not as many treats but coffee is awesome!!
Great pie shop. Loads of different kinds even open for breakfast and do a breakfast pie. Get it peaked with mushy peas and gravy! Few seats but it is pretty small.
Great burger spot. Like a subway for burgers chose all your toppings and they dress it in front of you. Can sit outside little patio in the back.
One of our favourite spots. Great pub food, large menu, reasonably priced. Nice outdoor patio looking out to the mountain. Don't take reservations. Have live music twice a day.
A great mexican restaurant. Bit more refined mexican than a large american burrito (which is also amazing) but great flavours, presentation and super friendly staff.
Fried pastry in the shape of a beaver tail with loads of different toppings. We love the nutella and banana. Great for a sweet treat during the day or after dinner!
Famous ice cream spot being going to since I was a kid. Loads of flavours and also sell fun merchandise.
If your feeling up for some relaxation, outdoor thermal spas with cold plunges and places to sit to read your book.
Up for an adventure. Zipline thru the trees up the mountain
Get a gondola ticket to go up to the top of the mountain. Mountain biking is the sport they do here in summer. Rent gear and give it a go! Or go up for sightseeing, hiking and check out a restaurants at the top of the mountain!
Local grocery store, larger size with everything you need.
Pharmacy, makeup, toiletries like a Boots in case you need or forgot anything!
There are a number of ways: -a shuttle bus that runs every day from YVR -renting a vehicle from the airport -cycling if you're feeling up to it!! ;)
There are many hotels or Airbnbs in Whistler or Blackcomb mountain. Ideally you would like to be within walking distance to Whistler Village as this is where all the restaurants and shops are located. We will be staying in Creekside but this is a bit further out, about a 10 minute drive to Whistler Village. Before booking feel free to reach out if you have any questions and to make sure you are in a good location!
The venue is all outdoors rain or shine and there is a path between the trees leading to the ceremony spot be aware of this for footwear! Summer smart casual attire!
Can be changeable this time of year. Either really warm or could be rainy and cloudy. Don't need a large winter coat, just a light rain jacket is adequate. The village is casual no need to bring really fancy going out clothes. Comfortable runners and sandals are all you need!
