Our love story !Our love story !
Our love story starts with a once upon a time in 2019 Raya and Richie were searching for true love and not just some bumble meet up (lol). So, what did we do as millennials? Sign up to Hinge and just waited as we swiped for our true soulmate. For Richie and I, it was a very new concept to find the one we can really connect with by looking at pictures and swiping right or left. At some point, virtual had to meet reality. So, these soon to be love birds had to meet. We met at his job, teaching adult GED. Our second proper date was on the Upper West Side. Richie was wearing his black beanie and matching from head to toe with his fresh kicks as always. “He looked like a poet,” I thought. Magnolias was our dessert and his favorite spot. That was the start of something sweet. But we also have some spice. Little names and games, jokes, teases, and partners in cute crimes. Love came along the way. As time went on, we took a trip to Thailand. While there our mutual love of green prompted him to find my Emerald engagement ring. He proposed and I lovingly accepted. We had a second engagement with our family and friends in California, to my total surprise. Our similarities and differences have come together into this magical moment in our journey. We are making this commitment that we want to last a lifetime and beyond.
