No visit to Seattle is complete without a journey through Pike Place Market. Filled with bustling merchants, local artisans, fresh foods, and hidden corners waiting to be discovered, it's the sort of place that rewards wandering without a destination. Follow your curiosity—you never know what treasures you'll find.
Beneath the waves lies a world every bit as wondrous as the stories of old. The Seattle Aquarium offers a chance to discover the creatures of Puget Sound and beyond, from playful sea otters to graceful octopuses. It's a delightful way to spend an afternoon exploring the hidden wonders of the sea.
Not all adventures require a dragon. Woodland Park Zoo offers a chance to wander winding paths, discover remarkable creatures from around the world, and spend a leisurely day surrounded by nature. It's a delightful outing for travelers of all ages.
For those with a love of adventure, the Museum of Flight offers a chance to explore humanity's enduring desire to journey beyond the horizon. Wander among legendary aircraft, marvel at the wonders of spaceflight, and enjoy a glimpse of the stories that carried people into the skies.
Every great adventure begins with a journey. The ferry to Bainbridge Island is one of our favorite local treasures, with sweeping water views and salty sea air. We hope you'll enjoy the voyage as much as we do—and perhaps arrive feeling a little more like a traveler than when you departed.
Please RSVP by August 4, 2026.
We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony begins so you have time to park, find your seat, and settle in.
Think garden party meets Pacific Northwest forest. Greens, browns, florals, linen, and comfortable outdoor-friendly footwear are all encouraged. Cozy, not costume.
The ceremony and portions of the celebration will be outdoors. Please plan accordingly for September weather in the Pacific Northwest.
