Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

For your convenience, we have reserved three hotel block options. Two are conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the venue, and the third is located in downtown Sarasota, about a 15 to 30 min. drive to the venue (traffic dependent). Please note that if you are staying at the Courtyard by Marriott or Hilton Garden Inn, please check in with the front desk to verify shuttle transportation to AND from the venue. They are often driving to and from the Sarasota Airport and will prioritize airline passengers if accommodations are not made in advance. If for some reason, shuttles are unavailable, we recommend using ride-share. Parking is available at the venue but not permitted overnight, so please plan accordingly. Please note that if you are staying downtown at the Aloft, transportation to and from the venue will be provided. Pick-up from the Aloft to venue will begin at 4pm and drop off from the venue to the Aloft will begin promptly after the event ends. Are kids welcome?

To maintain an intimate setting, we have decided to limit the attendance of children to immediate family only. We hope you understand our decision and are still able to join us in celebrating.

Is there a dress code?

While we want you to dress how you feel comfortable, we suggest semi-formal attire. Keep in mind that the ceremony and reception space will take place outdoors and with dinner on the lawn.

Answer

We are so grateful for your presence and excited to celebrate with you, which is the best gift we could ask for. If you do wish to give a gift, a cash gift or a donation to our local pet shelter, where we rescued our beloved puppy Barklay, would be greatly appreciated.
