A Chanukkah miracle

First comes a date then comes Jelly Donuts

Miracles happen every day, and on the first night of Chanukah in December 2021, a wonderful and unexpected event took place. After a week of phone conversations following their meeting on the Facebook Dating app, Randa and Evan decided to meet at a local bar in Marlboro, NJ. The evening started off perfectly with great conversations and drinks. They couldn't stop talking about their interests, families, and the coincidence of having the same friends in high school and living in the same town without ever crossing paths. As the night came to an end, they both didn't want it to be over. So, Randa, who had been making jelly donuts and Challah all day for Chanukah, decided to share some with Evan. She gave him 2 Challahs and a dozen Jelly Donuts as a gift for Chanukah, hoping for a second date. This small gesture led to not only a second date, but many more that followed. The first night of Chanukah in December 2021 truly became a meaningful and unforgettable miracle.

FAQs

Question

Are Children Invited ?

Answer

We're excited to celebrate our special day with loved ones and look forward to an evening of dancing and fun. We have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can join us for a magical evening.

Question

What to Wear?

Answer

We're excited to announce that this is a black-tie affair! We encourage our guests to dress to impress. For the ladies, think elegant gowns or cocktail dresses. For the gentlemen, tuxedos or dark suits are the way to go.

Question

What time should I show up for the ceremony?

Answer

We hope you can join us for the Bedeken during cocktail hour, which starts at 7 PM and ends around 7:45 PM. It's a special moment we'd love to share with you. If you can't make it to the cocktail hour, please aim to arrive for the ceremony at 7:45 PM. This will give you enough time to settle in before it starts. We highly recommend attending the cocktail hour if possible – it's a wonderful way to start the evening! Especially with great cocktails and food to enjoy!
