Lucky Penny
After messaging paragraphs back and forth for two weeks, we finally decided to go on our first date to Lux Central. We spent a few hours of non-stop laughing and talking as if we had known each other for years in that coffee shop on that Monday evening. After it was time to go, I came across a shiny penny that was face up with the current year of 2021 on it. Something in me told me to save it, but as we walked to the parking lot, I dropped it under my car. Ralph without hesitation went to retrieve it and as I said "leave it if it's face down - it's bad luck" he only confirmed it was face up before getting back up with it. I didn't believe him then, but I held on to it regardless. A few weeks later I came across the song "Starting Over" by Chris Stapleton and to my surprise it mentions a lucky penny. To this day, that is one of our many songs, and I can now whole heartedly say that even if that penny wasn't face up it was definitely the most luckiest penny I have ever picked up. - Andrea
Crazy In Love
Many people know about our first "fight" or rather the first hiccup we experienced in our relationship. We had made plans to go out one weekend morning, and like usual, I had overslept. My phone was dead and Andrea was expecting me, so like any sane person does in the first month of dating someone, she showed up at my Dad's house, banging on the window. We both agreed that this was something that cannot ever happen again, so I got dressed and we drove over to Granada park to enjoy nature, set boundaries, and communicate expectations so that we can both feel secure in our relationship. I had never felt this way before, nor have I ever connected with someone and felt so sure that they would keep every promise they ever made me. We still have those heart to heart conversations, and she still makes me feel as though the world would shatter before she breaks a promise to me. And she has taught me that nothing comes easy, but if you work together to polish and grow your love, there is no better feeling in the world. That day in the park was the day I learned how to love someone that loves with all her heart. Two years later in the same park, she agreed to be my fiance, and I look forward to learning how to love all over again, every day for the rest of my life. -Ralph

As the bride's best friend, Bethanie has always had a gift for keeping the bride’s heart steady, from the first date with the groom to the soon-to-be big day. A sweet reminder that she will always be in the bride's corner.

Just four years apart, Yanin is the bride’s oldest sister and very first best friend. She’s been a steady guide through life’s big and small moments, leading by example, offering advice, and always being someone to look up to and laugh with. As the bride enters into her wife era, she can confidently do so knowing Yanin will be right by her side, grounding her in love, and continuing to be the constant source of warmth and sisterly strength she’s always been.

She may be the younger sister, but Katie is often the one the bride turns to for a healthy dose of perspective and grounding. Spunky and bold, yet gentle and sweet, she has a way of showing wisdom well beyond her years. She may be four years younger, but somehow it still feels like having another big sister in disguise. As the big day approaches, the bride can be certain that if Katie has any say in it, she’ll make sure the bride gets her way, and thankfully, moving forward, Katie has officially vetted Ralph to carry that same energy.

The bride’s best friend since middle school, Tiffany has always been the glue holding their friend groups together, offering love and loyalty in the most heartfelt ways. The friendship the bride shares with Tiffany is one that words can hardly capture, built on years of memories that began in middle school, and yes, Tiffany has the photos to prove it. The bride once said she wanted Tiffany to plan her wedding when they were just 12 years old. Little did she know, the wedding was already being planned in its own way, and the bride had an even better title in mind for Tiffany.

Cousin of the bride and born just nine months after Andrea, they’ve been side-by-side since the beginning....literally! This was the built-in bestie the bride needed when she needed someone to take the heat for being a mischievous kid. As the years continue to pass, the love and support Stephanie has given the bride is unmatched and unwavering with a constant presence in every chapter of life. From tummy pain laughs in our childhood bedrooms, to milestones and memories, Stephanie has always been there and the bride can’t imagine this day without her by her side.

A lot can be said about this spunky guy. He goes through many cycles of growth and change, but the one thing that stays consistent is his dedication to his friends and family. The father of Ralph's godchild and his childhood friend, there is nobody that knows Ralph quite so well. Maybe the bride but I'm not sure.

The groom's sister and oldest friend, as she is almost 31. But! She has the energy and mind of a 21 year old. Though sometimes immature, she is a force to be reckoned with and we are glad to have in her in our corner, supporting us implicitly. Ashlyn is like the sister Ralph never had.

A veteran in war and pub crawls, Adam is the groom's token white friend. He is the definition of a golden retriever boyfriend, and that loyalty extends to his friends and family as well. The protector of the group, and a truly stand up guy.
Nick Valdez

A truly wonderful human being. When you meet Nick and his amazing wife, Maria, they leave a lasting impression. Not only does Nick know how to throw a party, he would give you the shirt off his back without being asked. It sounds like a eulogy, but he is already such an amazing father, husband, friend, son and brother.
Kingston Lyon

If you're talking drinks, Kingston is listening. Though their friendship started out rocky, over time he and the groom developed a close friendship. Another fellow blue collar worker, Kingston and Ralph have bonded over work, memories, traumas, and drinks. He and his sister have been some of Ralph's closest friends in the hardest of times.

Due to capacity limits at our ceremony and reception venues, the only children at our wedding are those in the wedding party and immediate family specified in provided invite.
