Our Story
Ben and Lizzy met on the dating app, Hinge. After initially matching in late January, Ben was in between travel for two of his friends' separate destination weddings, which made it a bit difficult to meet in person. Lizzy distinctly remembers sending Ben a text saying "I'm waiting for you to ask me out already!" Ben was trying to be mindful of travel and spreading sickness in a post-pandemic world. The pair ended up having their first date at Boca Chica on February 15th of 2022 after deciding to avoid potential bad juju for having a first date on Valentine's Day. Ben had joked that he would serenade Lizzy with the song "Lips of an Angel" by Hinder and to Lizzy's delight and surprise, he did! Between Ben's serenade, their shared love of video games, movies, the outdoors, and travel, Ben and Lizzy had an instant special connection. Our love for each other has only grown and what brings us to inviting you to this celebration of our love. Ben and Lizzy share two cats, Zeke and Kevin, who Lizzy's sister has aptly named "The Tiger Twins" as they are both very handsome striped tabby cats. We are so happy to share our love and excited for you to join us as we take the next step in our relationship and commit to each other for life!

What Is the Dress Code?
Answer
Think of this as a back yard wedding! We suggest business casual. The venue is outdoors so we also recommend layers to keep warm or cool off.

How do I RSVP?
Answer
We decided to go paperless for RSVPs. There should be a QR code on your invitation. Scan that with your phone and RSVP online. Your plus one will also be listed. NOTE: There is no QR code on the Save the Dates we sent out. Keep an eye out for RSVP instructions invites.

Can We Bring Our Children?

Our perfect day is an adults-only event. We hope you understand and can join us! Please reach out to us personally to discuss if this will be an issue.

Will Food Be Vegetarian/Vegan Friendly?

We have thought about this in depth and made sure to choose a vendor who can accommodate for a Vegetarian/Vegan diet.

We do have a registry! You should be able to navigate to our registry page on this website. There are a few options between donating to a budget of your choosing an item from our Amazon or Williams Sonoma Registry.

Can I Leave My Car Overnight?
Answer
No - our venue does not allow for overnight parking. We will have a shuttle set up to and from the Holiday Inn Express in Lakeville.

Shuttles & Transportation?
Answer
We are arranging a shuttle to bring guests to the venue from the Holiday Inn Express in Lakeville. There will also be a shuttle to bring guests back to the hotel once the night is over. Other options are driving (just remember you can't leave your car overnight) and ordering an Uber or Lyft.
