We met on a Friday night at Common Space Brewery, the good old fashioned way :). We were both there for a mutual friend's birthday party. Come to find out, we both contemplated even going to this party to begin with, but lucky for us, we both decided to go! Upon meeting, we immediately bonded over our love for the outdoors. With all the bustle of the party, we found ourselves continuously gravitating towards each other throughout the night. As the night came to a close and everyone was exchanging socials, we gravitated towards each other once more. Thinking nothing of it, Rachelle proceeds to make the social media exchange with Zack, but to her surprise, he responds with “Oh, I would actually like your number” with a very determined tone. Shocked because of a conversation that was had around Rachelle moving out of state within the next few months, she agrees anyway. The following weeks, what was supposed to remain a friendship due to Rachelle moving to Texas soon grew into something much more meaningful. Zack and Rachelle found themselves spending every opportunity together. The time spent was filled with laughter and genuine bonding. Before long, they realized that this wasn’t going to just be a platonic friendship. But there was one problem with this unexpected union, Rachelle was still set to move to Texas. They decided to try the long distance thing out and see how it goes since it was so early on in the relationship. After all, they say that distance makes the heart grow fonder! And fonder did their hearts grow! That distance and some of life’s twists showed them that they could definitely do life together. It didn’t take long before the two of them realized that the puzzle piece they were missing in life had finally been revealed and about a year and a half later they were engaged. So here we are, ready to celebrate God’s divine timing with all of you! Each and every one of you has played a part in getting us here and we are delighted to have you come celebrate with us <3
