Our Story
Rachel & Tyler should have met a long while ago. They both moved to New York City from their respective places, where they grew up and learned who they thought they were. They came to New York with expectations and goals and a decent sense of self and direction. They both carried on like that for a few years, and coincidentally found themselves in buildings right beside each other. They took the same trains, went to the same gym, knew some of the same people - Tyler even obsessed over the cycling studio where Rachel taught. But those people never met. The world stopped, and Rachel and Tyler ended up a few blocks further from each other. They took a chance on Hinge (sponsor us) and made a connection. One 7 hour zoom date, a walk by the river, months of dancing in a living room, years of working side by side, lots of travel and three cats later, they've arrived here. Two people who have taken the time to truly know one another and themselves. Two people painted in the colors of the other.

Question
How do I get there?
Answer
It is easiest to either take an uber to Margaret Corbin Circle and enter Fort Tryon Park from there. Or, if you are taking the subway, take the A train to 190th stop and follow signs to exit via Fort Washington Ave & Margaret Corbin Dr. (You will need to take an elevator up to this exit) Walk straight into the park and keep walking straight until you get to some stairs, go up the stairs and you're there!!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony is outside in the park. It is only about a 5 minute walk straight into the park and up only a few stairs. We are putting out all the good weather vibes to hopefully have perfect weather! However, if it is really projected to be pouring that day, we will move the ceremony into the reception location - The Bonnefont.

Will there be seating for the ceremony?
Answer
Although there are benches in the immediate area, the actual ceremony will be standing room! But don't worry, we will keep it quick :)

What do I wear?
Answer
It is cocktail attire and we would love for everyone to show up in their brightest most colorful best. Show off- we'll love it!!

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
If your name is on the invite, you are in! We truly wish we could invite everyone but unless specified by the bride and groom, it is invite only. The afterparty at Winnie Said is open invite though!

As much as we love the kiddos, this is an adult only function!
