FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by Saturday, February 8.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

It's cliché but true: the only gift we want is for everyone we love to share the day with us. Please consider gifts as truly optional. ... but because we know some of y'all will insist, donations to our honeymoon fund are gratefully accepted on the Registry page. We’re aiming to go international and visit Japan in 2026 after Nick is done with his masters! We will also happily accept personal or handmade gifts.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear whatever festive springtime attire you will be most comfortable in for an outdoor wedding. The average high in March is 73, and the low 52. We have no specific colors for guests to adhere to, though if you love a theme, you’re welcome to join Rachel and Nick by wearing your grooviest vintage 70s fits ;) Practical stuff: the grounds at the cidery are a mix of limestone pathways, cobblestones, granite gravel, and grass. Our ceremony will take place in a field, so heels are probably not a great choice.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Check the Schedule page for more details. We will have a welcome event/happy hour and a joint bachelor/bachelorette party.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! If you have "guest" listed on your invitation, please bring anyone you'd like as your date for the evening.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! Texas Keeper is very kid-friendly.

Question

What are we eating and drinking?

Answer

So, so much. La Pera is catering our event; their “modern Mexico meets Texas with a twist” food is absolutely fantastic. Texas Keeper will serve their house ciders, mead, wines, and beer. We will have plenty of NA options as well! Please be mindful that absolutely no outside alcohol is permitted.

Question

How do I let you know about food allergies/dietary needs?

Answer

Food options are included on your RSVP. If you don't see an option that applies to you, give Rachel a text by the RSVP deadline (February 8th) and we'll get you taken care of!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, Texas Keeper has plenty of on-site parking. The parking lot is located straight ahead from the entrance gate.
