Our Proposal Story
On my birthday December 10th, two days before my mom passed away, Grant dropped me off at work and went to my parents house to have a talk with my Dad about wanting to propose. He wanted to make sure my Mom knew I was going to be taken care of before she passed. I hope deep in my soul that she knows what an amazing man Grant is and that she was able to pass knowing that her baby girl was going to be okay. I love our story, I love the path we took to get to the proposal. Together Grant and I searched for a ring, we went and picked it out together, which was one of the most special moments of our lives at that point. Watching him, watching me, as I tried on different rings was magical and emotional. We found the perfect ring if I do say so myself because it’s gorgeous!!!! And then I had to wait (if you know me, the wait was brutal lol) But the wait was perfect, the stress was gone, we both knew what was going to happen so we could enjoy it and really be in the moment together Then came a magical trip to Aruba. A beautiful walk on the beach early in the morning before sunrise. Talking about our life together so far, how much we’ve grown together, how we make each other better in every way. Sitting together listening to the waves, staring out into the ocean in another country. Enjoying the moment together. Knowing we both make each other happy and that with all the craziness in this world, that’s the most important thing. That when times get tough, when things get hard. We have each other. That’s all you can hope for, to build your life with someone who gives you the same amount of effort you’re giving them. With that, I said YES!! No clue what life will bring from here, but with Grant, I’m WINNING ❤️

ceremony vs reception only invitation
Answer
Due to limited seating, our ceremony and dinner is reserved for family and select guests. We wish we could have everyone there, unfortunately there is limited space. We will have snacks and desserts as well as drinks for everyone coming to just the reception. Thanks for understanding!
Question
Can we take pictures or videos during the ceremony
Answer
We would appreciate that you did NOT take photos or videos during the ceremony. Our photographer will handle taking photos during this time. After the ceremony feel free to take as many photos as you would like and please share with us!
