We will be in business casual to business formal. But there's no strict dress code. If you feel inclined to have a short sleeve Hawaiian shirt, go for it.

The hotels close to the venue look a little pricy, where else can I stay?

Answer

We picked this venue because of it's close proximity to Downtown Austin. There are over 14,000 hotel rooms in Downtown Austin, look to the West of the venue on Google Maps and you're sure to find one that fits your budget within a 2 mile Uber or Lyft ride.

Getting to and from the venue- How hard is that?

Answer

Almost all of Austin, Texas is serviced by ride share apps like Lyft, Uber, and Ride Austin (a nonprofit option). If you choose to stay in the surrounding suburbs, like Round Rock, Georgetown, Kyle, or Buda, know that the price of a ride share can get pricy quickly. Map out ahead of time how you plan to get to and from the venue for the most cost effect outcome.

Parking, y'all got parking?

Answer

Short answer: kinda. There is NO free parking near the venue. There will be limited paid parking available near the venue. There are multiple paid parking lots near the venue- know that these lots can cost up to $30 per car. There is paid street parking available around the venue. Can you find parking? For sure. Will you pay for it? Yes. Will you have to walk? Likely. Do you want to avoid parking? Take a ride share or the train. Plaza station is a 5 min. walk away.

Can I take the Austin Red Line (train) to the venue?

That's right folks. Austin's Red Line train drops off .2 miles from the venue. Check the schedule, as the last ride ends around ~11 PM. This is a pro-public transit wedding and we won't take any of your anti-transit rhetoric on December 14th, thank you.
