How We Met

A Mary's Cafe Love Story

Rachael and Bob met bartending at Mary's Cafe. Rachael kept him there too late on Eagles Sundays and Bob always kept her laughing. They still enjoy time at Mary's together <3

Devon O'Flynn

Matron of Honor

Rachael's best friend & personal wedding planner! The one on standby to make sure everything is going smoothly- with a backup plan for the backup plan. She continues to be the bride's biggest supporter, lifelong ride-or-die (#BFFFFFL) and there is no one better to stand by her for this moment!

Emily McGonigle

Bridesmaid

Rachael's unofficial adopted little sister AKA junior personal assistant now, is ready to stand by her big sis's side for the big day. Now fully adulting with Rachael, their bond is stronger than ever. She is honored to be here for Bobby and Rach, and promises not to cry too much (but no guarantees!)

Maria Merino-Gill

Bridesmaid

The lovely wife of Shawn and daughter-in-law of Bob. Joins the group ready to give all the tips to have the best wedding ever, and one half of the dance-floor monitor team. Together with Shawn, they will ensure a night of continuous dancing!

Charlie Collins

Bridesmate

Charlie is Rachael's younger (and if you ask her- not as cool) sibling, but the love between them has always been bigger than titles or age. Rachael took on a caring role early on for Charlie, but over the years, that bond has grown into a lasting friendship. Today, Charlie standing by Rachael's side is a full circle moment for them, with lots of love to be shared.

Greg Crawford

Best Man

Bob's best friend and go to guy. From late nights and long laughs at Mary's, to both of their weddings! Prepared to make sure all goes smooth on the guys end: ties are straight, beer is cold and everyone is ready to celebrate.

Shawn Gill

Groomsman

Bob’s oldest son and chief vibes officer. Shawn is ready to stand by his dad's side and celebrate this new chapter for him and Rachael. From there, it's all dancing!

Ryan Gill

Groomsman

Bob’s youngest son, who IS the party will be right there for the front row seat to Bob and Rachael's marking of forever. He will be looking forward to a day full of love, laughter and maybe a little bit of dancing (no promises though)!

Scarlett Vicker

Flower Girl

At just two years old, Scarlett- aware that she is the cutest, will be here to serve flowers- and looks as the Flower Girl.... Don't let the dress fool you though, she is also keeping an eye on the boys and those rings!

Donny (& Declan) O'Flynn

Ring Security

Donny is Rachael's first nephew, and one of the most important people to her. Rachael always calls Donny her "bestest little fiend", but sometimes he will say BOBBY is actually his best friend! Donny will be acting as Head of Ring Security, with the help of his baby brother Declan who will be representing from the "ring suitcase". With Scarlett by his side, it is a full family operation to get those rings to the alter safely!!

Mary Kay Thompson

Mother of the Bride

The Queen, who has been waiting for this moment since she began the fill-in Mother role almost 30 years ago. She is ready to guide, love and support Rachael (and Bobby) on their special day! She will also be on standby to remind Rachael of her strength, determination and love, if ever she starts to doubt herself. :)

Deacon James Collins

(Late) Father of the Bride

James (Jimmy Collins) was not only the bride's father, but her biggest supporter (and humorous antagonizer). Though he is not here physically, his presence is felt in every moment of the day- his love, pride and dedication, forever part of her heart.

Barbara (Bobbie) Smith

(Late) Mother of the Groom

Though Bobbie is no longer with us in person, her spirit and love carry on and are deeply felt today. She played an important role in shaping Bob into the man he is today, and her memory carries on into this new chapter for Bob and Rachael. Bobbie is deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Thomas Smith

Father of the Groom

Smitty, Bob's father is proud to be a part of Bob and Rachael's big day, wishing Bobbie was here to see it, but looking forward to celebrating surrounded by family and friends.

Jack Klett

Officiant

Jack has stood with many couples as they said their vows, but this one is extra meaningful. He is not just Bob's Brother-In-Law, he is truly a brother. Bob & Rachael and Jack & Brian have shared many celebrations, late-night laughs, and the kind of moments that make life full. Having him marrying Bob and Rach makes this day even more special.

Bishop Robert Johnson

Ceremony Blessing

Rachael and Bob are deeply honored to have Bishop Johnson with us today to give the wedding blessing. He was the bride’s late father’s friend and brother in Christ, and having him here is a powerful connection- one that brings her father’s memory into this day, surrounding the couple with his love and God's love.

Bill Paoletti

Honorary Father of the Bride

A dear friend of Rachael’s father, and truly like a second father to her, Payo has been there through many stages- always with the right amount of his signature sarcasm. The guy who somehow always managed to bail her out of the kind of teenage trouble that seemed small at the time but probably gave him a few gray hairs. Rachael’s father would be proud knowing someone he trusted like family is walking her down the aisle in his place.
