How It Began
Quang and Nica’s story began with a ring. When Quang first met Nica, he jokingly made one thing very clear: he wasn’t here to mess around. He told her he was looking for his future wife. Bold? Yes. Serious? Not yet. On their very first date in 2017, the two went to the OC Night Market at the OC Fairgrounds. They bonded over culture, cuisine, and conversation, and when the evening came to an end, Quang walked Nica to her car. As she was getting in, he pulled out a very large, very fake plastic ring with an oversized rubber “diamond” and jokingly proposed right there in the parking lot. Nica burst out laughing. It was unexpected, ridiculous, and perfectly them. What started as a joke slowly turned into something real. Years of love, growth, and shared memories followed, and on July 3, 2021, Quang officially asked Nica to marry him. This time with a real ring and a very real “yes.” Eight years after that first playful proposal, they’re finally saying “I do,” and they couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with the people they love most.

Please plan to arrive by 4:00 PM to ensure everyone is seated before the ceremony begins at 4:30 PM. To avoid disruptions, guests arriving after the ceremony begins will be seated once the ceremony concludes.

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Monserate Winery in Fallbrook, California. The ceremony will take place at The Tuscan Estate, followed immediately by the reception at the Tuscan Estate Tasting Room.

Yes, the ceremony and reception will be on the same property.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Formal Attire: Gentlemen are requested to wear a suit with a tie, and ladies are requested to wear floor-length gowns. Brown or green suits and dresses are not permitted.

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?
Answer
There will be on-site parking available should you choose to drive. If you plan to use Uber or Lyft, we recommend scheduling rides in advance, as the venue is tucked away in the hills of Fallbrook.

The ceremony will take place outdoors, followed by an indoor reception. We recommend bringing a light layer for the evening.
