When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1st. If you do not let us know by then, we will have to assume that you regretfully decline our invitation to celebrate. We have to have our guest count finalized at that point, so let us know as soon as you can what your plans will be!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2:00 p.m. Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes early to park and get settled in your seat. Any guests that arrive after the ceremony begins will be asked to wait in the reception area until the conclusion of the ceremony.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

In lieu of a gift registry, we would love if you would donate to our honeymoon fund! We plan to go to Japan and we would really appreciate if you would help us have a fun new experience as we step into married life! We have lots of fun activities planned while we are there, so anything that is contributed to our trip will be appreciated greatly! If you are more comfortable sending money directly to us, rather than donating through the website, we have wedding accounts through Venmo and Cashapp! Can I take photos during the wedding?

We ask that you please do not have your phone out at all during the ceremony! Treat it like it's the movie theater or like this wedding is taking place in the 90s before cell phones even existed. We have hired an excellent photographer to capture all our beautiful moments, we would hate to see your phone in our photos. We promise that there will be plenty of opportunities to snap a photo with us during the reception, but during our ceremony, we want everyone to be completely present in the moment! In short, please leave the phone in your pocket or purse and simply enjoy the moment!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Formal/Garden Party. Ladies, please wear a midi or maxi dresses, a formal matching set, or a formal jumpsuit/romper. Nothing tailored above the knee. For men, suits and ties optional, button down shirts and dress pants, and dress shoes. Go for fun spring and summer colors or floral patterns. Please, no jeans, sweatpants, polos, or tee shirts. Take this as an opportunity to dress your best and have fun!

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited guest capacity, we can only accommodate the names listed on each invite. Should you be allotted a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your children, we have a limited guest capacity per our venue. Take this as an opportunity to let loose and have a fun, child-free night!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is parking right at our venue. The ceremony and venue will take place at the same location, so no need to worry about needing to travel to a second location for the reception!

Is smoking allowed at the venue?

Answer

Smoking is not allowed at Oak Meadow Event Center. If you must smoke, you will have to step off of the property completely.
