We went on a spontaneous trip to the French Alps in celebration of Jesse's birthday & fell in love with the sweet town of Chamonix located at the base of Mont Blanc - pure magic! Making it official was an instantaneous decision within hours of our arrival & everything fell into place from there. Jesse found a local photographer who helped plan our special day, including - coordinating the locations & flowers. She also recommended a jeweler - that happened to have a pop-up in a Chamonix cafe with the only male ring that conveniently fit Jesse - it was meant to be! The morning of February 27th, we met in town & took the Montenverse train to Mer de Glace on top of Mont Blanc et voilà! A month after our return to NYC, we made it official at City Hall & surprised our friends that evening at a dinner we called "the final supper" so they would think it was our send off dinner (to NJ). And now, we are looking forward to continuing the celebration with you!

Amy & Jesse met through a mutual friend group over 10 years ago! Amy was the sole female and only non-musically inclined member of the group. They remained close friends and Amy was somehow able to withstand Jesse's varied attempts over the years to be more than that. The timing just wasn't right. In 2021 the crew took a much needed getaway to Miami, and to Jesse's relief, something finally clicked for Amy. They started spending more time together that summer strengthening their friendship bond - playing hooky from work & going to the beach, park hangs, taco nights, etc. His persistence eventually wore her down! Four years in, 2 cars, 1 house, an elopement and a rescue dog later...the beginnings of a beautiful life together!
