We met through a dating app called Coffee Meets Bagel. After talking for a few days we decided to go out to dinner in Pacific Beach, California. We immediately clicked over some sangria and paella at Costa Brava where we both agreed that this was the best first date either of us had been on. After dinner we continued our date to to a local pool hall for a few drinks and a few games of pool. Jeffrey had been the perfect gentleman throughout the date except when he didn't let me win at pool, not even once. We ended our date with plans to go see a movie in a few days.

Jeffrey had hinted a few days before that he wanted to go watch the sunrise on the beach. So at 6 A.M. Jeffrey and I woke up and gathered our things to head to Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island in Georgia. Once at the beach we laid down our towel and sat to wait for the sunrise. Unfortunately, the sand fleas and mosquitoes had a different plan in mind for us. After about 30 minutes of dealing with the bugs we packed our things to head to Great Dunes Beach. As we walked down the beach we saw a pod of dolphins swimming across the coast line as the sun finally rose. Once settled, I turned around and there was Jeffrey on one knee, asking me to marry him.
