We didn’t exactly meet at Tres Hombres but that’s where I spotted Adam for the first time in the summer amongst some other CSUC soccer gentleman and I was instantly hooked. Adam frequently visited that Fall to watch the CSUC soccer games and by the end of that season in November, about four people were introducing us. Likely due to my very candid interest in him for months. In February we reconnected in San Francisco and soon after started dating long distance for a year until Adam moved to Chico to start a shared life in May 2012. In the prime of my bachelor days, living in San Francisco, on one of my frequent visits to Chico during the soccer season, I was given a nudge by several alum and told 'hey, there's this girl you've gotta meet'. Me being me, wondered how I was going to meet 4 different girls that weekend, but luckily I only needed to meet the first one (to later realize they were all talking about the same girl). From there we continued our relationship from a distance with Maia in Chico and me figuring out my life in San Francisco, Tahoe and back home in So Cal. I finally came to my senses, and moved where I knew I should be, with Maia in Chico. Since that time we've gone through 5 moves between rentals and fixer upper homes, 15 combined job title changes, and an array of trips, celebrations and events with our friends, families and community. Now in our 'forever home' with our two loving dogs Hudson and Sloane, we are ready as ever to tie the knot in our most exciting celebration yet with our closest friends and family.
