In May of 2020, Pepper and Adam made the tough decision to postpone their wedding due to COVID-19. Their new date is July 11, 2021 and all the information on this website has been updated to reflect that change. Since the COVID situation is always evolving, please keep an eye out in your email inbox and on this website for any important updates. We appreciate your patience.
Back in 2013, Adam joined two of his grad school friends Kate and Ben to pick up Kate’s friend Pepper up from the airport as she moved to Boston. Due to 4+ hour delay to Pepper’s flight, however, the group miiiight have a few beverages as they waited. When Pepper finally landed, she was met with a, um, “jovial” group of new faces - many of whom she had never met - including Adam. It was an interesting first impression to say the least. Luckily for Adam, this first impression wasn’t the one that stuck, and the couple realized while taking in a mid-summer Red Sox game that there was something special happening. Before long, Adam and Pepper had made it official and starting dating… only to then have Adam have to move to NYC for work less than 3 months later. Throughout the year and a half apart that followed, Adam and Pepper not only made the distance work but realized how important they were to each other. Adam eventually found his way back to Boston in 2015, and the couple's relationship only flourished from there. After moving in together, Adam ultimately realized that this was it - that Pepper was “The One”. On Sunday November 4th, 2018, under the poorly disguised cover of a “Birthday Surprise”, Adam and Pepper returned to an empty Fenway Park where Adam popped the question on the field. Thankfully, Pepper said “yes” and, well, the rest is history.
