Erin and Chris have been dating for about five years, but this love story was 10 years in the making. Chris would say that the two originally met in 2008. Erin's mother, Pam, asked Chris (who at the time was in college and painting houses) to come over to prepare a bid to paint her interior. Erin doesn't quite remember this encounter. She would say that the two met in 2011 when she was in the market for a new smart phone and Holly, Chris' mother, suggested that Erin go see her son who then was out of college and working for a Verizon Wireless franchise. As you can see the couple's mothers worked tirelessly over the years to hatch a plan for the two to meet. Regardless, Erin does remember that encounter in the Verizon store on that fateful day in 2011. Erin thought Chris was oozing with charisma and Chris found Erin's attempt at flirting unprofessional (but appreciated). The store manager noticed a spark lingering in the air, but alas, nothing stuck. Erin jetted off to Europe and Chris moved to Chicago. There were a handful of other run ins and the two kept tabs on each other via Facebook but, as they say timing is everything. In 2013, Chris moved back to Columbus, took a chance and asked Erin to join him at a local concert. Groomsman, Andrew Cox, physically pushed the groom into the bride during the concert to initiate the first dance and the rest is history. With much meddling, a fair share of patience and a lot of love, the two are to be married on June 23rd, 2018
