AS TOLD BY THE GROOM TO BE: I remember meeting Nicole on the bus in Middle School. Then in High School, I tried to take her to a homecoming dance, but we know how that turned out.. lol and we stayed friends after that. Then we reconnected after she got back from college and the rest is history. AS TOLD BY THE BRIDE TO BE: I met this wonderful young man named Jacob back in Middle School. We rode the same bus where we talked, made jokes, and got to know each other. He was interesting and weird, and so was I. I loved his silly demeanor and the easy feeling of friendship. A bit of time went by. Jacob graduated and started his career - which he is amazing at. A year later, I went off to college, but we still kept in touch Fast forward 4 years, he invited me to a wedding, which I casually avoided. Honestly, he made me nervous, in a butterfly, happy feeling way. We weren't just two kids in school who picked on each other in grade school. He was someone who's company I truly enjoyed and made me genuinely smile. I cannot express how important the next few steps of our relationship meant to me. I bought a house, Jacob asked if he could introduce me as his girlfriend at a family birthday party, and he began staying over every single night. It got to the point where it seemed very silly for him to pay rent elsewhere. I knew I already loved him as a friend, how could you not? My favorite part, I learned to love him as a partner. Long story even longer, a few years go by and now WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!!!
