Naseem & Tommy met a year and a half before they even spoke to eachother through mutual friends. A few weeks prior to June 26, Naseem was going to the mall to shop for a trip to Aruba with her family. As she was walking into the mall, she saw Tommy and his uncle Ed outside. Naseem and Tommy realized they knew each-other and said "Hey!", Tommy came in to give her a hug, but Naseem was too fast and she got away without one. On June 24, 2016, Naseem bumped into her friend. He asked her who her date was to the housewarming party his girlfriend was having. Naseem informed him that she was coming with one of her girlfriends. He was shocked that she was single and started to ask her what she was looking for in a boyfriend. Naseem was NOT INTERESTED and kept trying to get away from the conversation. After he insisted on getting an answer out of her, he started naming some names and Naseem brushed them off one by one. Then he said, "What about Tommy?" She said, "WHO?", he said, "Tommy, the hockey player, everyone loves Tommy!" After a few seconds of thinking who this "Tommy guy" was, she said, "Oh, yeah, he's nice, but I've never really talked to him". Two days later, Naseem shows up to the housewarming party, and Tommy happened to be there as well (Shocker). She was having trouble getting her bluetooth speakers to work and asked anyone for help, Tommy walked over right away. He fixed her speakers for her and she said, "Wow! You must be very tech-savvy".He didn't respond. As her friend finished giving a tour of her brand new home, Naseem walks out, her FAVORITE song is playing on the speakers, she asked, "WHO IS PLAYING THIS SONG? NO-ONE KNOWS THIS SONG BUT ME!", Tommy says, "I'm playing it on my phone"..She couldn't believe that he knew her favorite song. They were inseparable the entire party, joking, throwing the football, and exchanging songs. Tommy got her number from the matchmaker friend. Tommy told Naseem he loved her a week later and the rest was history.
