We met in college at SIUE and became friends after attending events together within Greek life at school. After many years of friendship, we went on our first date together which consisted of Dylan cooking breakfast for dinner and a movie at his house. So romantic!

We went on a trip together to Breckenridge, CO to relax in the midst of COVID. After multiple sightseeing trips, we went to Sapphire Point. When we got to the top and saw the gorgeous view, Dylan asked a stranger to take our picture. While they took our picture, Dylan got down on one knee and proposed! We were lucky there was someone else up there to capture the moment!
