We first met at K-State. It was the last day of the semester before winter break. We were about to take a final exam when Ryan noticed a John Mayer sticker I (Marilina) had just put the night before on my water bottle. I sat in front of him since the first day of classes but we only started talking minutes before the exam thanks to the sticker.

On the first time we got to gather both immediate families, I (Ryan) proposed to Marilina on the edge of Chicago's Michigan Lake overlooking the city. It was a beautiful day and we got to spend it with our families.
