Welcome! We are so excited to celebrate with you!

Luke and I met in January of 2016 at Indiana Wesleyan University where we were introduced by mutual friends. I was a freshman studying exercise science and Luke was a senior studying criminal justice. Our first official date was actually a study date in the basement of the library at IWU! After a few months of dating, Luke graduated from college and later moved back to Dayton, OH where we survived a few years of distance. Over six years later and the rest is history!

For the past few summers, Luke and I have gone on vacation with his family. In the summer of 2020, we went to Asheville, North Carolina. For months we had been coordinating outfits for family pictures that were going to be taken in front of the Biltmore mansion. This was not out of the ordinary as we had done this on past vacations. After getting family pictures done, we decided to walk a little further to get couple's pictures at a gazebo on the property. After posing for some pictures, I went to walk away and Luke said "Wait". I turned around and he was on one knee. I was in complete shock. After sobbing and finally saying "yes", I then asked, "Does my mom know?" Luke responded, "Yeah! Your family is here!" My family (including my great-grandma!) secretively drove from Indiana, Michigan, and New york to North Carolina to celebrate our engagement with us! It was the best surprise! Here's to forever!
