Erin and Jonathan met virtually on March 5, 2017. Erin was coming back from a trip in Lexington, KY where she had just hung out with their mutual friend David. Jonathan was overseas at the time, in Hamburg, Germany when he first saw the photo David posted and tagged Erin in. He immediately messaged David and they started scheming how he could casually introduce us via direct message. David put Erin and Jonathan in a group message saying, "Hey, you're both photographers, you should be friends!" Jonathan will forever tease Erin because her response back used the word "friends" five too many times! Everyone swore he was in the friend zone, but Erin was just incredibly excited because she instantly knew she was going to marry him. Fast forward to May 10, 2017 in Baltimore, Maryland where Jonathan was swinging through on a tour. They met, started dating and started the rest of their lives together that day. They spent the first months of their dating time traveling; having a new date in a new state every time they saw one another. Fast forward to July 23, 2018 where Jonathan proposed in Hamburg, Germany, in the EXACT spot where he first saw Erin's photo. And the rest was history.
