We're getting married!

So, long story short... Makena, one of my bridesmaids, asked me to go to Kwik Trip in Caledonia to hang out with this one guy. Who knew that this "one guy", Josh, would be the one I would eventually marry. We were sitting in the cafe part of Kwik Trip talking and as I was just listening to their conversation, I kept wondering, "When will I ever get dropped off at home". After that night, it became a weekend thing. I would find myself going to La Crosse with Makena to hang out with this Josh and a couple of his other friends. Since then, we grew closer and became inseparable.

Once upon a Friday night...LOL :) Josh goes bowling on Friday’s with his family, and I had to work the next day so I was ready for bed by 9:00 p.m. I got a message from Josh at about 11:00 p.m, telling me to get ready. I then of course asked a million questions, and he continued to ignore every single one of them...I'm assuming because he was nervous. He pulls up and I get in the car, very confused. I start asking more questions and he just sat there laughing, knowing his inability to answer would bother me. He ended up taking me to the lights in the park in Spring Grove. He knows the Rotary Lights in La Crosse and the ones in Spring Grove are my favorite thing to see during Christmas time. We just stood around for about 10 minutes looking at the lights. As I was looking around, I noticed Josh was all of a sudden on one knee, holding up a ring. Before I could even answer, he slides the ring on my finger. I was shocked but it was the easiest "yes" I've ever said.
