In 2018, JoLee was working at Rally House in Lenexa and Gaston was working in Lawrence while going to school in JCCC. He walked in to Rally House between classes to find a new bracelet right before JoLee walked back to her spot as sales leader (in the front of the store, welcoming people in), but she did watch him walk in. JoLee walks up to her friend that was working in the same area, says "damn, that man is attractive" and went on with her day. Gaston walks up to buy the bracelet and meets JoLee for the first time, refusing to sign up for Rally Rewards. Their eyes meet and send chills down JoLee's spine, she can't help but smile. He leaves and she thinks about him for the rest of the day. A couple days pass and Gaston walks in to Rally House, AGAIN. JoLee see's him walking circles while she's folding shirts and asks him if he plans on being there everyday. Gaston smiles and says "yeah, if that means i get to see you everyday." And they've been together flirting ever since.
