John and I were set up on a blind date through mutual friends ( hello Stephanie and Brian Dreher). Our first date was Wednesday May 27, 2015 to a Cubs Game. Needless to say that it went very well, although John wishes that our story began at the Sox Stadium instead.

We woke early on April 28, 2018 to head out to brunch together. On our way, we stopped to walk the Chicago Riverfront where he got down on one knee to propose. Afterwards we enjoyed brunch, newly engaged and just the two of us, at the Langham Hotel.
