Our Story in Photos

Jen and Jim "met" on CatholicMatch in January 2021. After a few weeks of exchanging messages, Jim asked Jen to go out for dinner and walk. Jen agreed to dinner. Their first date was February 5, 2021.

The first date went well, so they went on a second date which happened to be on Valentine's Day. Jen was touched by Jim's thoughtful gesture of bringing her flowers.

Jim "accidentally" said I love you first, then Jen said it for real and Jim followed a few weeks later.

On September 18th, Jim proposed to Jen in a little courtyard off Larimer Square in Denver.

He gave her a single red rose (her favorite), made a collage of photos of the two of them and arranged for their song ("You are Gold" by National Parks) to play in the background.

Jen's best friend, Kelsey, was there to capture the moment.

Jen and Jim walked around Denver with such huge smiles that people assumed they had just gotten engaged and offered them congratulations!

They went to PA in October to celebrate their engagement with Jen's family and experience PA in the Fall, complete with a trip to the pumpkin patch and a drive to look at the leaves.

Their friends threw them an engagement party in November to celebrate.

And they can't wait to celebrate with their family and friends on July 2nd!
