We're Getting Married!

We are going through with our wedding as planned with our guests' safety in mind. Our venue is very conscientious regarding health and safety - limiting attendee numbers and implementing policies for distancing which comply with state requirements. Masks are required for guests and there will be a quick health screening upon arrival by the venue staff. We plan to provide a live stream of the ceremony for those unable to attend--check back on the homepage as the date approaches. The ceremony will likely be outdoors. Reminder that parking is complimentary valet service only, please allow extra time upon arrival.

Every good story starts with "So I had one too many whiskey sours...", right? So John had one too many whiskey sours....Bekah, in attempt to keep him occupied, gave him Jenna's phone number. Long story short, the two never stopped talking.

Why the 13 month gap, you ask? John was to leave on his first deployment a few months after they had met, Jenna was still in school, and the timing didn't seem quite right. But when they each got their first letters from each other, they were hooked. When he came back they made things official and figured they should give this long-distance relationship a shot...definitely worth the wait! ;)

We were at an apple orchard. John, thinking it was funny, pointed to an apple and said "grab that one up there". (Full disclosure, we should all know by now that Jenna is 5 foot 0 inches??) So she laughed and said "okay". Meanwhile, during her struggle, John was grabbing the ring and getting down on one knee. Needless to say, she was very surprised when she finally turned around!
