We're getting married!

Geena and I first met a few days before the beginning of our Sophomore year in college. I had met her best friend (now maid of honor) Hannah earlier in the summer, and we were all going to a party together in Waco. Tbh, the party turned out to be pretty lame. But, obviously, I am glad I went. We had an effortless friendship. My bud Zach and I made almost monthly trips from Austin to College Station to hang with Geena and her friends. It was around this time me and Geena earned a bit of a ‘Ross and Rachel’, ‘will-they-wont-they’ reputation. I can’t tell you how many people during those years asked me if we were dating or if we ever would. And, for some unfathomable reason, we never did. That is, of course, until we did. I can’t remember exactly the night, but a few years after college I hung out with Geena at some gathering and it just hit me. I came home and told my roommate Brandon that I was an idiot. I couldn’t believe me and Geena had never given it a try. And so we talked, we gave it a try, and it was … fantastic. Love you Geen, can't wait for the rest of our lives together. -Jackson
