Kelly and Spencer met at a hastily arranged practice for a "mandatory" tournament of volleyball that promised to cement their names in Yale athletic history (It's kind of a big deal). The Fells is the gorgeous estate of former Secretary of State John Milton Hay. He held office under both President McKinley and Teddy Roosevelt and was Abraham Lincoln's personal secretary! It is also the location where Kelly and her Maid of Honor Julia went to summer camp (GO MALLARDS!) The Fells is popular during all seasons. Kelly and Spencer regularly snowshoe on the grounds in the winter and go for hikes throughout the nature trails on the ground in the warmer months.
