They swiped right…right into each other’s lives. What began as a small app-based romance, quickly turned into a real-world relationship. It didn’t take long for the pair to meet in person at the House of Blues in Dallas - a concert that solidified the mutual feelings that ultimately lead to their engagement. If ever there were a couple destined to spend their lives together, Haden and Devan would be the gold standard. In fact, upon meeting, the two were shocked to discover that they had independently made the exact same vacation plans to celebrate the New Year in Miami. After a few short weeks, the relationship was official and set the stage for the years of adventure that would lie ahead of them. Countless festivals, concerts, ski trips, cross-country ramblings, family vacations, and even a few weeks in the Nevada desert at Burning Man, represent only a tiny fraction of the experiences they’ve shared. Haden planned a surprise proposal to Devan on August 10th at Uchi in Dallas, followed by a celebration at the Roughton’s family home. Wasting no time, and eager to join each other in holy matrimony, the duo had set the original wedding date for February 23rd, 2019, but due to family circumstances decided to move the date to Friday October 5th.
