Denny and Brittin met in the 6th grade at Rochester Middle School! They briefly “dated” in 7th grade, but broke up when Denny threw an acorn at Brittin. Fast forward 13 years and they were both deploying to Afghanistan. After a few too many shots of Jameson, Denny made his move. His pickup line? “We have nothing in common, but I find you intriguing.” The rest is history.

If you have dogs, you know that trying to get them to pose for a picture is nearly impossible. While attempting to take their annual family Christmas picture, Denny and Brittin had the great idea to take a video instead of forcing two high energy dogs to give their best "blue steel." Josie (the couple's 6 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever) was disappointed when Denny pulled a ring out of his pocket instead of treats. Denny proposed on Christmas Day in front of the Christmas tree and got the whole thing on video! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Boise!
