We’re getting married!

We met in elementary school, but we did not catch each other's eye until high school. Freshman year we were voted to be on Homecoming court together and that's when everything began. I originally was supposed to go to Homecoming with someone else but when your elementary school crush asks you... You go with him instead! A week before Homecoming, Damian asked me to be his girlfriend... over a text. Of course I said yes!

I had been bugging Damian for months about proposing and when I thought it was never going to happen.... He popped the question! I had to work the night before and was told we were going to Marquette to take pictures with his sister and brother in law for their 5 year anniversary. Of course I was tired and did not feel like going but got up after 3 hours of sleep to find Damian dressed in nice clothes instead of comfortable ones like I thought we were wearing! We get to Marquette and decide to go to Thomas Rock Scenic Overlook in Big Bay (where Damian and I had went for a date). Once we get to the top to take pictures of his sister and brother in law and then decide to take some pictures of ourselves. Pictures started lasting longer than I wanted and when I turned around, Damian was on one knee.
