It’s happening!!!!!!!!!!! so save the date!

So it's funny really, I was looking for friends, not "friends" and I didn't know where in Arizona to meet gay people. I know there were options but were there? The club option... Seems fun but, well going to one alone now that's just sad (unless your a dancer or a DJ, but they have friends to go with). There is the go do option .... you know go hiking and you will meet people who love hiking and meet people organically so. That too requires you do things alone and well can you pick the lesbian out in the crowd (not me ). So my genius mind said, there are those dating sites and if you're not looking to date and your upfront then no worries. (Famous last words) - Latea I think I contacted Latea first on Match.com (at least that is what she says) in December or January, but I am old, and can’t remember. When we connected and started messaging on Match.com, I had pretty much had it with dating women in Phoenix. However, Latea was from NY, like me, and liked Broadway, also like me, and was pretty cute, so why not meet, and at least be “friends”. By the way, Latea was only looking for friends so when I said: “no pressure” to meeting for lunch she did not respond for some time. I am still not sure why me saying “no pressure” freaked her, but honestly, I just wanted to meet and talk. It took Latea a month or so to contact me again, and at that point, I had gone on several more dates and was seeing a woman who was way too dramatic. It was wearing on me, so I readily agreed to meet Latea. To my surprise, we got along pretty well. I had an appointment that afternoon, so I had to end our lunch early. As it would turn out, Latea thought I was blowing her off. I realized she was pretty amazing and I wanted to get to know her more, we made plans to play pool that evening. On that day not only did we have 2 dates, I also met the family. That was a lot to do on the first date or first day of a new relationship but we proceeded to see each other often and here we are. - Cora
