Almost five years ago, for the first time in history, Chris was unconcerned with whether the Hokies won or lost a basketball game. We had met right before the game. I had come to hang out with Krupa, but ended up spending most of the night talking basketball with Chris! After the game, we shared some sweet potato fries, but I left before he had a chance to walk me to my car. The next week I finally asked Krupa about Chris, who had been asking about me all week, after that the rest was history!

After a whole day of Disney Magic, we went to a resort to watch the fireworks on the beach. Once the "Pirates" song started, Chris knew it was time and popped the question! I said yes giving us the perfect end to a perfect day. It was a short and sweet proposal, but a couple on their anniversary trip managed to get a picture right after he asked!
