On a snowy Friday in January, at 10,250 feet above sea level, on one of Vail’s peaks, Jason got down on one knee and proposed. With several surprises up his sleeve, Jason lured Betsy to the top of Eagle Bahn Gondola for an alleged lunch that friends and family knew was a ploy to get Betsy to the top of the mountain. Jason had coordinated a photographer to be waiting at the top, dressed in full ski gear to capture the surprise. After innocently requesting an iPhone photo from a random “skier”, the photographer pulled out her camera and began snapping. The surprises didn't stop there! After a lot of smiles and photos, they proceeded to a celebratory champagne tasting, and a dinner reservation in a back bowl accessible only by a snow groomer. Unbeknownst to Betsy, several friends and family members had been invited for the dinner capping an incredible day and making it an unforgettable engagement weekend!
