A blind date set up by a mutual friend landed us at Monte Cassino Inn on Benedictine's campus. We instantly hit it off over dinner on a Thursday, the day before Valentine's Day. Although we both kept it to ourselves for awhile, we both knew we were meant to be together for the rest of our lives.

We celebrated Stephen's birthday a day early with a nice dinner at the Grand Cafe in downtown Jefferson City. Then we made our way to Binder Lake where we had spent time over quarantine to get out of the house. Next thing I knew, he was down on his knee asking me to marry him! See you in JC MO!
