We met in high school on a hike with some mutual friends. Abbie caught my eye, so I made as many poorly-executed jokes as possible to win her over. To this day I don't know if I won her over with my low-brow humor or if she just thought I was cute. All that matters is that it got me a date to Winter Formal.

Fast forward ten years and we've graduated college, moved in together, set our roots down in Kirkland with 18 houseplants, got a very cute dog, met new friends, and supported each other throughout it all.  We've now learned that she's actually the funny one, and I definitely think I'm cute.
